hello :) i have been very lazy, not posting for 2 and a half monthes! i promise from now on, ill try as hard as possible to post more often!

i recently went on urban...and suprise!! their home accessories are suprisingly vintage-looking and lovely! some of my favorites: (all went into my WISHLIST, a bit $$$ to buy...)

tibet journey

hello everyone!
sorry about not posting for a long while, because we were in tibet!
tibet was really nice! the weather was really good and we saw many animals and temples :)
i was very scared when i rode the yak, because it was right on the edge of the cliff and when the yak moved one step i screamed :)
also, the snow mountains and blue sky were very beautiful.
if you like animals, temples, photography and spicy food, i suggest you bring your camera to tibet (and medicine for mountain sickness, although i didnt get it, toni did!)

this saturday at LBE, i made a wallet (the one with the lace) but when i went home i found that when i put all my cards and money (haha) in it, it wouldn't close properly and the lace wasn't tight enough :( so, when i got bored the next day i made another one (button one) and at first it wouldn't close either but then put on the clasps and it works well thankfully :)
i think i might have found a new hobby. yay!
these few days have felt very busy...with homework and lalala and all that :) but then, i have a chinese exam tomorrow....i might have to revise a bit NOW.....ok!

I am so proud, because i made this beautiful flower brooch.
well.
technically, i did not make ALL of it.
i mean, you can never make it all, right?
like....the fabric isn't made by you....
and Billie helped out.
but i'm still proud.

I attached the flower to a plain cloth bag and tied some lace around it so i can take it off if i want.
i shall use this bag this weekend when i go to LBE♥

we went to the concert last saturday with Billie and now my feet still hurt from jumping and standing and dancing....etc. I really liked the glasses (screens) above the stage, his (2) guitars, his glittery shorts and little bus stop put on the stage during a few songs! and i swear, when he came to the crowd (get it?) he was LESS THAN A METER away from me!!!!!! it was so cool! :):)

i made this bag a long time ago....i remember that i had to repair it again and again because i sewed the edge and since the cloth is quite thin it kept running and the stitches would come out. I also remember that Billie helped me crochet the long strap with the scrap pieces of cloth...I have only used this bag once, since i am scaared if i put too much weight in it, the stitches in the bottom will all come out.....i hope they wont.

hey there!
we know that we haven't posted for a long time.....so this post shall make up for all that :) the main reason we didn't post anything for a period of time was because we spent a week in taiwan! it was very fun, and we ate a lot of food. there are some zakka things too, and i bought somethings....a few stamps....etc.
a few pics:

i like the colors in taiwan.....it is very natural and nice. we walked around the street a lot and visited many cool shops. In taiwan, the houses are very pretty, especially the balcony and the gates that some buildings have. maybe when i grow up i can live there......hahha i'm daydreaming again!

recently, i have made more stamps :) now, i have finally leanr the RIGHT way of carving. knife pointing out when lining and knife pointing in when carving pieces out :) billie, even though you tried to teach me so many times i have only learnt now :)

i got the inspiration from billie's stamp book...the stamps are so pretty ♥♥ there are animals, lace, fork, spoon, dresses, letters...............so many stamps, so little time.

after many many many lessons of making cloth bags, i have officially made...a
lot. although i have only pictured 4, there are a few more...i love the simplicity of the bags and that we can paint anything on them...when i feel like something, i try to capture it on the bags! i shall make another one (or more) this week

i have made another "camera" stamp! this one is much more detailed, but turned our quite wiggly.....but i think at least "wiggly" looks better with a camera than with:

yesterday was siuky's bday (he got pork with chicken dinner ☺) and today we had a family walk down to north point, as a celebration. Of course, going into North Point, meant 10 dollar store.

to my delight, i came across new prints, paper bags and wrapping paper. the paper bags even came with stickers! so i bought around 6 wrapping papers, with many small paper bags!

and all my sister bought was...a comb. yes, i am the shopaholic and she is the save-$-aholic.

and now when i get home. i have a full wrapping collection!! just looking at it makes me happy...

this week, i went into LBE and saw that billie had made many dolls...and they were so pretty! they were painted on cloth, and had lace tutus, with felt legs. i had to make one, so i did.

i really couldnt help it, but the doll i made ended looking like...me. she has long hair and red lips, with long,long legs and a black and pink tutu. i call her "zolly".

Like zolly, i like stripes and lace and tutus and cameras.......she is me. and i am zolly!

yes, i have yet made another gigantic head accessory. i have been wondering about my hair accessories...can it be seen from space?? maybe...
it seems like i just cannot seem to make more flowery headbands and clips...its less like an addiction but more like a much-needed ritual....i have to make it....or i'll die.
yet, this time my mother came to pick me up from LBE, she actually approved of it!! this world sure has changed since back then...i felt like the world had suddenly started rotating in a different direction...for once i was not a 癫婆 with the headband on....from my mother at least..
this gave a me a great sense of satisfaction.

until i thought about it...what if this sensibility meant i was becoming...sane?? was i losing my craziness?? oh no
i must eat more ice cream straight out of the tub, as it makes me very hyperactive. maybe i will go back to normal then.
to the ice cream!!

p.s, great job at the (steaming hot) cyberport flea market fellow handmaders!! hope you didnt get sunburnt!! i could already feel my legs steaming while i looked at the zakka. and my godsister and toni really got noticably darker.

when i was listening to the radio a few days ago, i heard about a girl called Zee Avi. her music is so lovely!! its very nice and soft and relaxing....i shall listen to it all day. Her voice is very light and cute. The lyrics are also very nice :)
i highly recommend her!!her songs like kantoi, bitter heart, honey bee and poppy are very happy songs and she has a very nice accent :) i shall put her songs on my blog music list!!

headband!

this one took me the whole 2 hours...even though it wasn't that hard!!
toni says its like a "sleepmask" and very fluffy. she asked if i could make her one so she could stop waking up when our grandmama kept turning on the light. i said: tzee sine!!
its quite soft, and the ends are not quite done yet. when other's wear it, they find it very loose, because my head is very big. the colour is just normal linen type, and the lace is white, with the brown stamp ink for ribbons. it's held by an elastic.
i added two ribbons, on either side of the head.
maybe i will try using it as sleep mask tonight....i have a swim gala tomorrow! must sleep well ♥

sorry! i have not updated for a long time...i have been so occupied lately. i have barely enough time to go on polyvore and blogger and facebook and hotmail and msn................ (as a teen, the list goes on) and finally i can write more!!! my fingers are typing away like siu keung's nails on the wood floor when his food is put on his (hehee) "table mat".

recently, my laptop and camera are not working well together. i had to try 10 (+) times to import my photos from khalil's concert (later, ok?) and other things. my school work is also piling up to my head. all adults will say, "then why dont you do it now instead of doing dumb dumb blogging?? always computer computer computer...do you want glasses" (and, i have alays thought glasses looks cool, so its a yes). but, my answer is, that i just need time with this little slab of clever machinery. i NEED it!!!!! believe me.

whats more, my dog is getting bigger and smellier by the day. just saying.

Today at LBE i made this...
once my mother saw me, she said the same thing as everytime i come home wearing something on my head:"wahh...癫婆啊!" (i expected this, its been happening often.). And to see and make an experiment, i decided to go to the supermarket with her...

there were many people, and once i went into the lift, a woman with a trolley stared at me for 15 seconds...and the lady who offers you to try meat didnt offer any to me...mommy had to give me some of hers.

mommy told me a total of 5 times, to take it off, but i still kept it on. I felt very cool.

then, daddy came and told me the same thing, but i still didnt take it off.

mommy said, "they will laugh at you!"

i said, "they havent yet. and its an experiment!"

and she said, "they dont laugh to your face!"

but i kept it on

and the florist lady, two dogs, around a gazillion helpers, a baby, supermarket staff, and people at the gas station's eyebrows raised way up when they saw me.

they must have thought, "oh.....hahhahahhahahhah what a crazy girl going shopping with her mommy"

and i imagine those people to tell their friends....
and their friends tell their friends...

and soon, i am on the newspaper

and the 6:00 news

and on "weird people in HK" blog

I went to the exhibit in sha tin
and found it was a lot better than the LV one in TST.
they displayed many black and white pictures
with beautiful gowns
with lace and ribbon
and many shoes
all the models in the pictures were elegant and they all wore red lipstick and corsets!

but they still looked so good!
i asked my mom if i could keep her ticket
and she said yes

a day in the life of siukey

7-9 am: Zoe or Toni comes out into the balcony and lets me into the house. i lick them a bit, then scurry to the end of corridor to sleep in.

8-10 am: daddy and mommy come out of their room, and i scurry to living room to lie down there and watch them eat breakfast.

10-10:30am: i scurry all over the house and play with a few toys until Rowena has to clean the floor and i have to be locked out for a tid bit.

10:30am: toni lets me in when the floor is dry enough. Zoe sometimes chickchacks with the big black machine and clicks the button. she shows me something on the machine that looks like a very handsome, very golden thing (hehe). when i'm tired of chickchacking, i go out to my bed and rest.

10:30am- 5pm: i hang around, and just being lazy. i poo and pee and drink water occasionally. sometimes when i see big birdies outside, i look at them fly.

5-6:30 pm: i greet daddy when he comes home from work. now i scurry into the kitchen and watch mommy make human foods.

6:30-7pm: i watch the humans have dinner until Rowena starts preparing my meal of the day (chicken/beef mixed with dry dog food :9 yum yum) and sit eagerly next to the kitchen table while she cuts the meat into little pieces and mixes with the dry food.

7pm: i am served! rowena takes my bowl and leads it outside, and i prance on after her. i finish in no time, and need to poo poo.

7:30 pm- 8:30pm: the humans watch the big square thing and eat fruits. Zoe eats dreyers vanilla choc chip ice cream.

8:30pm: rowena takes me out for my nightly walk aorund the neighborhood. i meet up with my gang, bobo, whisky, sasa, and the squirrels (pomeranians, as zoe calls them). me and bobo run around and play fight.

9-9:30pm Rowena take sme back home and i join the humans. i watch the square thing for a bit, then rowena takes me out to my bed and i snooze until the next morning...

On the fifth of july, a lot of people gathered together in sheung wan for a lovely flea market. babysweat had its own booth, using our lovely stella as our presentation. we tried to sell as much stuff as possible, and nearly ran out of namecards! it was very fun. we'd like to say thanks to our parents(for buying lunch, paying rent, supplying change etc), billie, for helping us make our packaging and encouraging us, the lovely aldults selling other nice things at the flea market, and the people who bought our products and took our namecard. i hope you guys look at the card, visit this blog, and see this message. without you guys toni and i wouldn't have had so much fun and made 980 dollars! thanks so much.

Electronics these days are being thrown away again and again, because a new model is coming out. we just got a new model! he hot pink version of babysweat 001 (so its the 002). now we have the mp3, 001 and 002. i will remind myself to make a third 'electronic'. what's cool about mp3, 001 and 002 is that they dont make electronic waste...i wonder if its because they aren't real electronics.

its almost like spring is here.

its almost like spring has come early (well, who knows with global warming?) flowers big and small, in your hair, your clothes, on your finger, looking pretty and reminding us of spring. i promise i will make more flowers. maybe one bigger than my camera?

we went shopping last week!!!!! a lot of new supplies. as usual, i was overbudget. luckily a shopaholic like myself has an anchor (billie) to stop me from spending too much.
next week is the last week of school~
finally.
i can wake up at 11 and sleep later then usual. (i hope) that i can spend more time at LBE and make more things. this summer will be a hot one.

I have run though many emotions lately...probably due to my nearly becoming of a teenager-ness. i dont particularly like it, but i think ill have to get used to it. hmmm. there it is again. when is the age when i stop with this ongoing teenagerness? i dont want to know.

babysweat is proud to annonce we finally own one of these beauties...
"she" (we named it stella) has a beautiful hot pink inner lining.
and is the nicest cherry vintage red.
we saw some in London, but they weren't so nice and only for display!
little did we know we could find one right here in Hong Kong!

my dad found it in a shop in mo lo street...i enthuiastically thanked him.
lala im so very glad.
but my dad says it has bugs...we showered it with insect spray and perfume. smells ladylike (♥)

we just came back 2 days ago from our europe trip...
nous avons mangé les croissants et bu les chaucolat chauds...et nous avons vu le tour eiffel, notre dame et l'arc de triomphe. it was trés trés fun. we took many pictures...and went to many flea markets, like portobello, camden, etcetc.
we will be showing the rest (alot) at LBE this saturday.

we made a phone. cool, no? if it were real i'd be a child genius. i wouldn't say i wasn't, but that would be boasting >:) haha it even has a ring tone (din ding bell) and can hang right next to your real phone because it's a 電話繩
